The first VCFSE State of the Sector Report for Lancashire & Cumbria was launched at the University of Lancashire

Introduction by Garth Hodgkinson (CEO Community CVS) and Setting The Context by Tracy Hopkins (LSC VCFSE Alliance).

Professor Catherine Leyshon (Quay Research) introduced the findings of the survey and the conclusions drawn from the data gathered, as well as the valuable insight into the current status of the VCFSE sector

Who is Powering the Sector? VCFSE sector reliance of the work of volunteers and highlights the need for volunteer infrastructure (e.g. volunteer centres)

Sources of Income for the VCFSE sector where more than 50% of income come from grants and donation/fundraising

Local Infrastructure Provision in each of the geographical areas, including volunteering infrastructure, grant giving and sector capacity building, development & training

Background: The State of the Sector Survey was created to understand the work the Voluntary, Community, Faith & Social Enterprise (VCFSE) sector does and to celebrate the positive contributions it is making here in Lancashire.
